FRUIT STORE STOREFRONT CHOCOLATE ADVERTISING DELIVERY WAGON MADISON MAINE This is a really nice well composed four color printed image of the storefront of the Madison Fruit Store. After researching on the internet I found the store to be located in Madison Maine. Posed in front of the store are the store owner and his family including a small boy and the family dog. They are all standing behind a row of bushel baskets containing what appears to be pears. Signage over the store awning reads Madison Fruit Store – Amedeo Christopher Proprietor - Cigars & Tobacco – Wholesale & Retail.
In an alleyway next to the store is a horse drawn wagon with a pink awning that advertises Evening star Chocolate with two delivery men posed on and next the wagon. The composition and details of the image are excellent. The image is not captioned however like I mentioned internet research proved the store was located in Madison Maine. Overall crisp condition without any creases bends rips or tears without any visible wear. Perfect. The name of the publisher is mentioned on the reverse side as being Metropolitan News & Publishing Company Boston Mass. Is addressed but postally unused and having a divided back. A great addition to any Fruit Store , Stand , Storefront , Advertisement , Advertising , Horse Drawn , Chocolate , Candy , Delivery , Madison , or Maine collection. Don’t let this rare one get away.
