The Leitz (Leica) fluorescent illuminator, Ploemopak
was designed to mount on Leitz stands like the Laborlux 11.
The diameter of the bayonet flange is 43mm.
The illuminator has positions for three fluorescent cubes.
The filter cubes are NOT included.
The illuminator is from a sales demo account and was not in regular or daily use.
Therefore, it remains in very good condition.
The optics are clear and without observable blemish.
The bayonet, field diaphragm and cube change mechanism work smoothly.
The detent spring for cube position is firm.  The heat filter has shading that is normal for the type of filter but does not affect the image quality.
